Mevis is a Ugandan born British writer, actor and director who has also acted in several short and feature films. She made her directorial debut with Inner, a short film made during lockdown. Mevis enjoys creating female-led stories depicting real issues ignored by society, often writing from a psychological perspective, having studied and worked in the sector for years.
