Meet Our New Creatives


We are pleased to announce our first round of New Creatives, these 16-30 year olds are located across the South West and are from diverse creative backgrounds. Over the next few months they will be creating 10 innovative audio works and 7 fresh film ideas for BBC Platforms.

Exciting new Technical Coordinator role at CTS!


CTS are looking for a Technical Coordinator with experience in film and creative media production.

Their role will be to support the company’s production and post-production activities, and in particular to liaise with our stakeholders and partners on New Creatives, a project that will see the production of film, audio and immersive content for the BBC in partnership with Arts Council England, made by filmmakers aged 16-30.  The Technical Coordinator will also work on the company’s on-going production slate.

BFI Animation Camp 2019 confirmed!

Calling the Shots are pleased to announce that applications for our annual animation camp on behalf of the British Film Institute will open in September.

The six-day residential course will take place at Barton camp from Saturday, 16th until Friday 22nd February, 2019.

The BFI Film Academy animation camp is open to all young people aged 16-19 with a passion for animation.

We’re Hiring an Events and Distribution Professional

CTS is looking for an Events and Distribution Professional with at least 2 years experience, to deliver an exciting programme of activity throughout the South West in 2017 and 2018. Their role will include the design, programming, management and marketing of events structured around the Random Acts films produced by 16-24 year olds nationally in 2015-2018.
