A two-year project that saw 45 young people from the UK, Poland and Germany work together to explore the issue of migration and how it relates to their lives through working together on a film. Through a mixture of local production work and international training camps, the groups devised, wrote, acted, shot and edited an innovative 10-minute film.
Calling The Shots partnered Bristol City Council to host the first leg of the project. The group spent a week getting to know each other, researching issues around migration and writing the first draft of the script. Six months later we all met again in Hannover, Germany, this time hosted by our German partners and shot the film.
Edited by CTS in the UK, the final leg of the project saw all three national groups meeting in Posnan, Poland to screen the film and create supporting materials for online and education use.
